We're a church family, not an institution — and that starts with people you can actually get to know.
I was born and raised in a Christian home and personally accepted Christ as my Saviour when I was only four years old. My parents say that even as a child I wanted to one day be in the ministry. While progressing through school, though, my sights shifted toward fortune and fame.
After high school I went to university and earned an electrical engineering degree, then entered the military and began working as an electrical engineer.
While I was pursuing that career, God got a hold of my heart and I surrendered my life to serving the Lord. About a year later I separated from the military and went to Bible college, where I earned a master's degree. God used that formal training to help me grow in my walk with Him and deepen my desire for service.
I count the greatest accomplishments of my life as the lives God has allowed me to impact. Discipleship and evangelism are my passion, and I am blessed that God would not give up on me and has called me to minister to others. Any ministry success God has blessed me with is due to a close walk with Him and a supportive wife, whom I count as my closest friend.
In June 2017 the Lord called my wife and me to Thompson, and we have loved living in the hub of the north — meeting so many people and basking in a community that cares for its own.
